Mary Ellen Headrick, 88, of Waynesboro, PA and formerly of Prairie Grove, AR, passed away Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at her home.
 

Born Sunday, September 8, 1929 in Carpenter, OK, she was the daughter of the late Luther Harvey Darby and Ellie Victoria (Cavis) Darby.

She was a graduate of Elk City High School. She was employed by Walmart for 25 years.


Mary is survived by daughters, Deborah Eileen Evans and Donna Lynn Gardner and husband Joseph, sister, Helen Kraus, thirteen grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren, twenty-one great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.


She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill James Headrick; a son, Billy Don Headrick, granddaughter, Tammy Headrick, brothers, Edward Darby and Frank Darby and sisters Loreen Greer, Ruby Darby and Evelyn Rush.
 

A viewing will be held Sunday, August 5, 2018 from 2-4 pm at J.L. Davis Funeral Home, 12525 Bradbury Ave. Smithsburg, MD.
 

Services will be held Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Whinery Chapel, 403 W. Country Club Blvd. Elk City, OK, with Joe Sapp officiating. Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery, Elk City, OK.
 

The family will receive friends from 1-2pm, one hour prior to the service. Online condolences may be offered at, www.jldavisfh.com or www.whineryfs.com.
