Robert Freeman was born April 1, 1954 in Bakersfield, California to Ruth Elizabeth and Hershell G. Freeman. He passed away November 6, 2016 at Elk City, Oklahoma at the age of 62 years, 7 months and 5 days.

Robert grew up in Hickman, California and graduated from Hughson High School. After graduation he entered the United States Navy where he served during peace time until his discharge in 1973. Upon his discharge he remained in California and worked as a carpenter and reunited with his high school sweetheart, Deborah Lee Linder. Together they lived in California until 2012 when they moved to Elk City to enjoy their retirement. Throughout town he was an upstanding man that respected everyone he met and also tried to touch everyone's life in one way or another. Robert enjoyed fishing, gardening and collecting antiques.

He was preceded in death by his mother, sister and one granddaughter, Jarrae Estepp.

He is survived by his wife, Deborah, of the home; 4 daughters, Jodi Pier, Elk City, OK, Yolanda Linder, Elk City, OK, Denise Carnahan, Springfield, AR, Patricia Irons, Elk City, OK; 19 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 2 brothers, Danny, Miami, OK, John, Seneca, MO; sister, Allana Kay, Seneca, MO; father, James Brazil, Elk City, OK, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Private Family services will be held at a later date.
