Submitted by Wanda Purcell

Mrs. Edna Calvert, nee Malson, died at the Elk City hospital, Friday night. She had been ill for several months, following an automobile accident from which illness her death resulted.

Mrs. Roy Calvert had a general acquaintance over the county having taught school in different sections. She formerly lived north of Strong City with her parents, Mr. and D.A. Malson. She was a noble, unselfish character, a dutiful and loving daughter and sister, and a devoted wife and above all a consecrated Christian.

Webmaster's note: Buried in Fairlawn Cemetery, Elk City, OK.
