Billie Jean West was born April 14, 1952 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Thelma Mae and William Ernest Lance. She passed away December 17, 2015 at Weatherford, Oklahoma at the age of 63 years, 8 months and 3 days.

She was born and raised in Corpus Christi, Texas and attended Mary Carroll High School. Billie Jean had three daughters, Laura, Sheila and Margaret with her first husband and while raising her girls she worked as a helicopter mechanic for the Corpus Christi Army Depot. She married the love of her life, Ronnie, in 1989 and they retired shortly thereafter and moved to Erick, Oklahoma where they made their home. She eventually opened and operated the 4-E Drive Through and Bottle Shop with her daughter, Sheila. She loved cooking for and feeding all of her customers. When she wasn't working, Billie Jean loved spending time with her family, especially on family vacations. Nothing made her happier than her grandchildren. She enjoyed fishing and camping with her family and also loved playing bingo and going to the casino where she made many lifelong friends. She never met a stranger and was a Granny to everyone.

Billie Jean was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband, Ronnie, of the home; 3 daughters, Laura Ann Carlucci and husband, Mike, of Elk City, Oklahoma, Sheila Dee Elizondo and husband, Andy, of Erick, Oklahoma and Margaret Jean McIntyre and husband, Ryan, of Erick, Oklahoma; 7 grandchildren, Brooke and Conner Carlucci, Katie and Lexi Elizondo, Kylie, Kenna and Weston McIntyre; her sisters and brother, Linda Oglethorpe, Texola, Oklahoma, Roger Lance, Corpus Christi, Texas, and Kathy Lance, Stephensville, Texas; 2 stepdaughters, Karri Chavez, Rockport, Texas and Kimberly Lopez, Aransas Pass, Texas as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
