Vivian M. Sharrar was born on May 10, 1918 in Pontiac, IL to John and Leah (Roberts) Coulter. She died on October 11, 2014 in Lawton, OK at the age of 96.
Mrs. Sharrar was raised and attended school in the Toledo, OH area. She married Sterling Sharrar on August 3, 1935 in Toledo and spent the 40 plus years living in California and Ohio as work demanded. They retired in 1978 in California, and moved to Erick, OK where they remained until Mr. Sharrar's death in 1995. Mrs. Sharrar then moved to Lawton, OK to be near family. While in Lawton, she was an active member of Trinity Assembly of God and the Red Hats. In her spare time, Mrs. Sharrar enjoyed arts and crafts, shopping, playing rummikub, and traveling to see her children and grandchildren who are scattered throughout the United States. She was preceded in death by her husband Sterling and son, David.
Survivors include five sons, Sterling Jr. in Minnesota, John and wife Patty in New Hampshire, Wayne and wife Sharon in Nevada, Jim and wife Donna in California, and Tom and wife Barbie in Lawton; a special niece, Pat Fritz , her son Dale and his wife Leslie in Ohio, and many additional loving grand, great grand, and great great grandchildren.
