Lucy Mae Holland Richardson was born January 4, 1911 in Clarksville, Texas to Lula Jane and D. B. Holland. She passed away January 30, 2003 in Erick Nursing Home Center in Erick, Oklahoma at the age of 92 years and 26 days.

She was married to Leo Richardson at Erick, Oklahoma on April 1, 1933.

She was a member of Erick First Baptist Church and the American Legion Auxiliary.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and one daughter.

Services were held February 2, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. at Fathree-Albert Chapel, officiated by Carl Hein.

Burial was at the Erick Cemetery, Erick, Beckham County, Oklahoma under the direction of Fathree-Albert Funeral Home.

Survivors include one daughter, Joy Brookshire and her husband, Don of Erick, Oklahoma; two grandchildren, Doug Brookshire and wife, Linda of Panhandle, Texas; Donna Knox and husband Ricky of Cleburne, Texas; five great grandchildren, Angie, Doug, Derek, Laci and Scott; one sister, Martha Latham of Lauerville, Louisiana; and a host of other relatives and friends.
