Mary Nell Nichols

Mary Nell Nichols was born October 17, 1929 in Erick, Oklahoma to Virgie Mae and Odie Charles Webster. She passed away June 30, 2014 at Sayre, Oklahoma at the age of 84 years, 8 months and 13 days.
 
Mary Nell grew up and attended school at Hibbart until the 8th grade. She then attended Erick High school graduating in 1947. After graduation, she started working for Euen Ellis in his law office. She was married to Eugene L. Nichols at Erick, OK on November 20, 1948. Mary Nell began working for Farmer's National Bank and was a dedicated employee for 26 years. She was a member of the Erick First Baptist Church since 1939 and often said she spent her happiest years teaching the young married couples Sunday school class. Mary Nell's primary focus in life was to take care of Gene.
 
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
 
She is survived by her brother, Charles Webster and wife, Sue, Borger, TX; 2 nieces, Sherree Stephens, Marlow, OK and Shelly Price, Amarillo, TX; 1 nephew, Terry Webster and wife, Shelly, Houston, TX; cousin, Don Head and wife, Gayla, Erick, OK and Lynton Street and wife, Jeanann and their daughter Sydney, all of Mayfield, OK; dear and longtime friends, Rusty Austin and wife, Janna, Erick, OK, Letha Stewart, Erick, OK; 11 great nephews and nieces, 2 great great nieces and a host of other relatives and friends.
 
Services will be held Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Erick First Baptist Church officiated by Bro. Charlie Floyd and Pastor Lance Whaley, assisting. Burial will be at Erick Cemetery under the direction of Fatheree-Albert Funeral Home. Condolences can be made online at www.whineryfs.com
