Wanda Mae Guenzel went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, March, 4, 2016. Wanda was born September 24, 1926, to Pearl Dovie (James) and Rev. Dewey L. Heath in Davenport, Oklahoma.
 
Wanda graduated as the valedictorian her class in 1944. Afterward, she attended Business College.
Wanda was working in the business office at Safeway where she met Walter who became the love of her life. They were later married on February 20, 1949 at Reydon, Oklahoma and to this union 2 daughters were born.
 
Wanda had a servants heart. She enjoyed volunteering at the Roger Miller Museum. She served on the kitchen committee at the Erick First Baptist Church, providing meals for college students and grieving families. Wanda loved her family and was proud of her daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her great-great grandson. She enjoyed watching the many basketball games and the playdays where she watched all the "kids" compete on horseback. Wanda was a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and a great-great grandmother, but most of all she was a godly woman.
 
Wanda was preceded in death by parents, husband of 52 years, Walter, mother and father-in-law, Bertha and Reinhold Guenzel.
 
She is survived by her daughter, Debby Corey and husband, Arthur, Duke, OK; granddaughter, Stephanie Arnold and Andy Gamboa, Blair, OK and sons Tobey and Nicholas; granddaughter, Jennifer Arnold, Oklahoma City, OK and children Shelby, Hunter, Reagen and Braylea; granddaughter, Wende Arnold, Oklahoma City, OK and children Haleigh, Chris and Gavyn and great-great grandson, Zeke; granddaughter, Holly Bradley and husband, Derek Plano, TX and children Gunner and Tatum. Wanda's daughter, Pamela Robertson, Sayre, OK; granddaughter, Summer Kay Jones and husband, Micheal, Sayre, OK and children Makyla and Makynley; sister-in-law, Jo Welch and husband, T.I., Dalhart, TX and a host of other relatives and friends.
 
Services will be held Monday, March 7, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Erick First Baptist Church officiated by Brother Ralph Chapman and Pastor Lance Whaley. Burial will be at Erick Cemetery under the direction of Fatheree-Albert Funeral Home. Condolences can be made online at www.whineryfs.com
