Cleo Springs – the funeral for Norma Jean Whipkey Beasley, 62, will be 10 AM Tuesday in Garland Road Church of Christ. Charles Smith and Tom Washburn will officiate. A graveside service will be 4 PM Tuesday in Erick Cemetery at Erick. Arrangements are by Henninger – Allen Funeral Home, Enid.

She was born January 20, 1939, in Willow to Coy Crat and Nancy Iona Hamilton Callen and died Thursday, January 3, 2002, in Denver, Colorado.

She grew up in Plainview and Erick, graduating from Erick high school and Southwestern Oklahoma State University, Weatherford. She married Harold Whipkey. They lived in Cleo Springs. She married Claude Beasley on May 1, 1993, in Enid. They lived in Cleo Springs. She worked at Fairview State Bank, then the Bank of Oklahoma in Enid. She was a member of Garland Church of Christ, Enid Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors and Sigma Phi Gamma sorority.

Surviving are her husband, Claude of the home; two sons, Ronald Whipkey of Mayfield and Roger Whipkey of Lubbock, Texas; one step son, Randy Beasley of Lindsay; one step daughter, Denita Rich of Enid; two sisters, her twin, Wilma Stewart of Dalhart, Texas, and Wanda York of Snyder, Texas; and 10 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to the church.
