Amy Elizabeth Rippetoe was born January 26, 2004 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Ann (Parker) and Rusty Rippetoe. She passed away May 14, 2018 at Sayre, Oklahoma at the age of 14 years, 3 months, and 19 days. 
 

Amy traveled with her family and lived in Moriarty, NM, Estancia, NM, Keyes, OK, Texoma, OK, Guymon, OK and Seiling, OK before moving to Sayre to make her home. Amy was currently attending Sayre Middle School and was in the 8th grade where she was in honor classes. She was active in sports including basketball and softball, enjoyed doing art and singing. Amy loved being outdoors where she could hunt, fish and ride 4 wheelers. She also enjoyed photography and Snapchat. She will be greatly missed by her loving family who affectionately called her "Amybird".
 

She is preceded in death by a brother, Christopher Robin Chavez and maternal grandfather, Charles Parker.
 

She is survived by her parents, Rusty and Ann Rippetoe; 2 sisters, Angie Rippetoe and Alex Rippetoe all of the home; paternal grandparents, Frank and Renea Rippetoe of Moriarty, NM; maternal grandmother, Hannelore Parker of Medford, OK; her beloved aunts and uncles, as well as many cousins and a host of other relatives and friends.
