Reuben Curtice "RC" Morris

Reuben Curtice "RC" Morris was born on June 18, 1934 in Sayre, Oklahoma to Addie Marie (Bartley) Morris and Reuben Robert Morris.

He passed away on August 26, 2018 in Clinton, Oklahoma at the Clinton Veterans Center. He lived to the age of 84 years, 2 months and 8 days.

RC grew up in Sayre where he farmed and participated in rodeos. He entered the United States Air Force after leaving school, serving his country during the Korean and Vietnam wars in Germany, France, and Canada, as well as numerous postings in Florida and Texas. After leaving the Air Force, RC worked in sales in Florida, later returning home to Oklahoma to take care of his parents and raise his young son, Curtice, while working as an over the road truck driver. He loved to hunt, fish and raise his labradors.


He is survived by 5 children; son, Curtice Morris and wife, Kellee, Elk City, OK, daughters, Lana McDaniel and husband, Mac, Claremore, OK, Alicia Zell Warner and husband, Rick, Willow Springs, MO, stepson, Jim Banning and wife, Sharon, Fairbanks, AK, stepdaughter, Cindy Frisby, Kingman, AZ. Other survivors include 2 sisters, Nina Jackson, Weatherford, OK, Shirley Birdwell and husband Paul Burns Flat, OK as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.


He is preceded in death by his parents, Reuben and Addie, and 1 sister, Myrtice Curl.
