Jerry Lynn Sides passed away Monday, September 9, 2019 in Oklahoma City, OK at the age of 68 years.  Jerry was born August 24, 1951 in Sayre, OK to his parents John and Jean (McKay) Sides.
 

He was a graduate of Sayre High School and a proud Oklahoma State University graduate who loved his Cowboys. Jerry was an engineer for Haliburton and Welex traveling and residing in countries such as Singapore, England and Scotland for eight years.  Jerry worked and retired from Center Point Energy as a project Coordinator.   He resided in the Oklahoma City area from 1984 ~ 2018, living in Sayre from 2018 to present.    Jerry enjoyed many hobbies such as golf and Oklahoma history, studying the lost towns and outlaws of the state.


Preceding Jerry in death include his father, 1 brother:  Mike Sides, 1 nephew, 2 nieces and grandparents.   
 

Jerry is survived by his mother:  Jean Sebree of Sayre, OK, 2 brothers:  Dale and wife Barbara Sides of Amarillo, TX, Larry Sides of Sayre, OK as well as a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
  

Funeral services will be held 2:30 PM, Friday, September 13, 2019 at Rose Chapel, Sayre. 

Interment will follow at Buffalo Cemetery. 

Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 11, 2019 from 9:00 AM ~ 8:00 PM and Thursday, September 12, 2019 from 9:00 AM ~ 8:00 PM at Rose Chapel, Sayre.
