Wynona Eula B (Heard) Mason

Funeral services for Wynona Mason will be conducted Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at the Rose Chapel officiated by Albert Warnken. Interment will follow in the Buffalo Cemetery under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Home.

Wynona was born February 23, 1913 in Dublin, Texas to Christian Ann and Thomas Woodson Heard and died Friday January 28, 2000 at the age of 86.

She married Giles Eugene "Gene" Mason on September 12, 1931 in Sweetwater.

They lived in Sweetwater, Hereford, Texas and El Paso, Texas before moving to Albuquerque, New Mexico in 1957 to make their home.

She was a member of the Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two sisters; and three brothers.

Survivors include one son, Jim and his wife Carolyn Mason of Albuquerque, New Mexico; two grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
