Jack Haas was born December 14, 1957 in Sayre, Oklahoma to Jewel Beatrice and Wilbert Samuel Haas. He passed away May 26, 2015 at Sayre, Oklahoma at the age of 57 years, 5 months and 12 days.

Jack grew up and attended school in Sayre. He later began working in the oilfield driving a truck. He was married to Lucia Exel at his parents’ home in Sayre. They lived in Tishomingo for several years before returning to Sayre to make his home. Jack continued driving a truck and operated heavy equipment in the oilfield until going to work at Johnston Fertilizer in Sayre. Jack liked to fish, ride motorcycles and garden. He loved working with his hands he spent many hours working on his truck and many other projects. His other "hobby" was going to Denny's and drinking coffee with his friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, Billy and Calvin Haas and a sister, Linda Baker, 2 nephews, Mikey Haas, Chad Baker and a niece, Jamie Baker.

He is survived by his 4 children, Amy Brinkley and husband, Chad, Sayre, OK, Misty Davis, Elk City, OK, Justin Haas and wife, Joanie, Madill, OK and Lanesha Haas, Sayre, OK; 10 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren, his brothers and sisters, Sam Haas and wife, Belinda, Elk City, OK, Bonnie Lowry, Sayre, OK, Jan Henson and husband, Greg, Sweetwater, OK and Darryl Haas, Sayre, OK and many nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
