Phillip Don Gordon

Phillip Don Gordon was born August 31, 1955 at Sayre, Oklahoma to Don & Chloe Ellen Gordon. He passed away at his home in Elk City on Tuesday, April 29, 2014, at the age of 58 years after a long battle with cancer. Phil was united in marriage to Debra Sloan on February 7, 2009.

Phil graduated top of his class at Sweetwater High School in 1973. He attended Sayre Junior College before making his career in the oilfield. Phil & Debi made their home in Elk City where they enjoyed riding their Harley Davidson. They purchased a lake house to enjoy together with their kids & grandkids. Phil enjoyed taking the kids out on the boat tubing. Phil loved dogs & was often seen spoiling them around the house. He was formerly a member of the First Baptist Church of Sayre and recently became a member at the Second and Adams Church of Christ in Elk City.

Phil was preceded in death by his father and stepmother; Don & Fern Gordon. He is survived by his wife, Debra of the home in Elk City, OK; his Mother Chloe Davis of Elk City, OK; his sons Delton Gordon & wife Sarah of Stillwater, OK, Chris Gordon & wife McKenzie of Greenfield, OK, Sean Brown & fiancé Sherron St. John of Yukon, OK, daughters Misty Beck of Elk City, OK, Jessica Kimberlin & husband Jimmy of Dill City, OK, and Jennifer Sloan of Dill City, OK. Seven grandchildren: Dalton, Donovan, Sebastian, Tucker, Jesstin, Bennett & Casen. His Sisters Pam Hagerman & husband Clifford of Canute, OK, Stacey Glasscock & husband Craig of Edmond OK, and his Brother Kent Gordon of Sweetwater, OK. as well as a host of other relatives & friends.
