Beaver County, Oklahoma

Boyd Cemetery

S24-R20-T3

This cemetery is on a knoll one mile west of the early day Boyd, out in a pasture on private land. Old Boyd is inaccessible and is marked only by a grove of small trees and a large pink boulder. Among the dead, were two children of the Amos Lease family and Jim Reece, a cowboy. There were more graves, but just how many is not known, as time has erased all evidence of the burial site.
