NAME: William “Bill” Acy Allen age 83, a lifetime Atoka area resident.

BORN: He was born on October 13, 1926 to Isacc B. and Martha (Davis) Allen in Lane, Ok.

PASSED AWAY: Bill passed away on November 29, 2009, in Stringtown, Ok.

AGE 83 YEARS 1 MONTHS AND 16 DAYS

EDUCATION: He attended school at Iron Stobb.

OCUPATION: Bill worked in logging and trucking all of his life. He was the Sawmill manager for Belchers Lumber Mill, drove for Brother Carl Allen and then owned his own truck. He also worked three years at the ammunition depot.

MARRIED: He married Virginia Mitchell on June 5, 1946, in Sherman, Tx.

CHURCH AFFILIATION, HOBBIES, AND OTHER AFFILIATIONS: Bill served his country in the Navy. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Atoka.

SON: Acy Allen and wife Carolyn of Eufaula, Ok.

DAUGHTER: Tonya Allen of Durant, Ok.

BROTHER: Monroe Allen and wife Kathy of Ada, Ok.

GRANDCHILDREN: John Bell of Houston, Tx.
Montel Bell of Durant, Ok.
Eric Bell of Durant, Ok.
Tracy Allen of Laughlin, Nv.
Mark Allen of Ft. Mohave, Az.
Kerry Allen of Eufaula, Ok.
Becky Allen of Ft. Worth, Tx.
Brian Allen of Ft. Worth, Tx.

Along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and many dear and loved friends.

PRECEDED IN DEATH BY
PARENTS: Isaac and Martha Allen

SON: Larry Allen

SISTERS: Bessie Moreland, Bertha Yates, Ethel Phillips, Irene Goff, Opal Rector, and Lucille Fouraker
