Rupert Cemetery is located in Section 32 Township 24N Range 10W in Alfalfa County. From the intersection of State Highways 45 and 58 south of Helena, follow State Highway 58 further south for 4 miles, then turn right (west) at the southwest corner of the Good Hope Cemetery and go 2.75 miles; cemetery fronts on the north side of this dirt road.

The following used with permission, Cherokee Strip Volunteer League, "Alfalfa County Oklahoma Cemeteries": Rupert Cemetery had its beginning at the opening of the Cherokee Strip in 1893. It was purchased from the Rupert family, and later purchased from the Jess Cannon farm. Mr. George Rupert staked a claim on this land during the "Run of 1893". There were no cemeteries in the area at the time of his death. He was buried on the south side of his land. This land has since been known as the Rupert Cemetery. A young Hunt boy who died as a result of a rattlesnake bite was among one of the first graves. Glenna Robertson, age 12, was accidentally shot and died instantly was also buried there. Some of the other people buried in early years were members of the families of Rupert, Cannon, Nickols, and Simon Dixon.
