Aline Star Cemetery is located approximately one mile east of Aline on the south side of the highway (one-half mile west of Highway 8 on the Aline road).
The following used with permission, Cherokee Strip Volunteer League, "Alfalfa County Oklahoma Cemeteries": Aline Star Cemetery is located in Section 1Township 23N Range 12W in Alfalfa County. On June 3, 1903, William H. Howe gave a deed for land to the Aline Cemetery Association. On August 6, 1903, a land patent was issued to the officers: John Mincher, President; M. M. McCully, Secretary; Ezra E. Hartshorn, John Hartshorn, H. A. Like, and L. C. Thomas. October 20, 1914, the control of the cemetery was given to the Aline Eastern Star Lodge. The name was changed to the Aline Eastern Star Cemetery. Additional land was purchased from Claude Kerns on September 14, 1959, to make section D. The two deeds and original land patent are on file with the president. The Eastern Star Chapter reorganized the cemetery association on October 10, 1972, and it became known as the Aline Star Cemetery.
