Roy Lee Teehee was born July 6, 1947 in Adair County, Oklahoma to Charley and Juanita (Sam) Teehee and passed away on August 23, 2019 in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 72 years, 1 month and 17 days.

Roy liked to sing and go to church and as his health permitted.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting and loved his coon dogs. Roy loved spending time with his grandkids and never went anywhere without his sidekick, Dan Ray Kirk.


He was preceded in death by his parents, Charley and Juanita Teehee, two brothers, Raymond Glass and John Teehee and two sisters, Emma Galcatcher and Ann Bell Duck.


He leaves behind a loving family which includes his wife of 44 years, Allene Teehee of the home; his children, Brigdgetta Stealer and husband Donnie of Stilwell, Kent Teehee and companion Christie Sanders of Stilwell, William Teehee of the home, Leanna Teehee of the home, Lyle Ray Teehee and companion Ashley of Stilwell and Jason (Whitey) Burnette, whom he raised from birth; two brothers, Amos Teehee and wife Polly of Claremore, Billy Wayne Teehee and wife Debbie of Siloam Springs, Ark.; two sisters, Beulah Acorn and husband Wallace of Fort Smith, Ark., Ida Roberts and husband Joe of Stilwell; grandchildren, Caylin Livers, Trisda and Elijah Teehee, Evan and Jace Doublehead, Kent Teehee Jr, Lyley Rae Teehee and one special friend, Dan Ray Kirk, whom he spent half of his life with. He also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, other family and many friends.
 

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at Salem Baptist Church with Bro. Richard Pickup and Bro. Gary Flynn officiating.

Interment will follow at Salem Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home.
