TAHLEQUAH — Altirean DeGeer, of Proctor, resident passed away Thursday, May 24, 2012, in Eufaula. She was 85 years of age.
Services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, May 29, 2012, in the Proctor Community Church. Interment will follow in the Proctor Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home.
Altirean was born Aug. 29, 1926, in Proctor. She was the daughter of Jack and Mary (Brantley) Crittendon. On March 3, 1952, she was married to Thomas Allen DeGeer in Tahlequah. She enjoyed sewing and playing bingo.
Survivors include her son, Tom DeGeer, of Springtown, Texas, and daughter Bobbye Turner, of Eufaula; one brother, John Crittendon of Blackwell; three grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and eight brothers and sisters.
