Novia Elaine Guinn was born to Seaphus Franklin and Pearl Hazel (Duvall) Wing on July 12, 1933 in Wagoner, Oklahoma. She departed this life on Thursday, January 9, 2014 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 80 years, 5 months and 27 days.
Novia was a wonderful and loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Friend. She married Don Guinn on May 14, 1950 and the Lord blessed them with a large family. She was a first always for her family, whether it was for her kids, brothers, sisters, mother or father. Novia was the caregiver that always had her home open for her family.
Novia loved working in her garden and taking care of her flowers. She loved cooking for her family. No one ever left there with an empty stomach. She always loved singing music with Sam while he played the guitar.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Seaphus and Pearl Wing, husband: Don Guinn, brothers: Normal, Troy, Lloyd, Lewis, Gaylen, Jimmy Jack Wing.
Surviving Novia are her children: David Wing and wife Freda of Westville, OK, Donnie Guinn and wife Iva of Muskogee, OK, Bill Guinn and wife Sandra of Stilwell, OK, Vontreba Hudson and Joe of Westville, Randall Guinn and wife Becky of Greenland, AR, 11 grandchildren: Gary Wing of Westville, Monica Guinn of Tulsa, OK, Rachel Cotton and husband Rick of Owasso, OK, James Guinn of Owasso, Lee, Tina and Marcie Guinn of Stilwell, Scotty Hammer of Harrison, AR, Craig Hudson of Westville, Skyla and Nathan Guinn of Greenland, 22 great grandchildren, brothers: Gilbert Wing and wife Goldie of Watts, OK, Billy Wing and wife Betsy of Stilwell, Beulah Knight of Phoenix, AZ, Mary Drywater of Tahlequah, OK, a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services at 1 pm on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at Roberts & Hart Chapel, Westville, OK with Rusty Harlan officiating. Interment followed at Old Green Cemetery, Westville, OK.
