Tom Hand was born in Indian Territories about 1885 and died at age 34 years on January 26, 1919 at Lees Creek Township, Adair Co., OK. He was listed as a farmer, married and Indian. His father was Cheunea Hand. Doctor did not see him, but the cause of death was listed as tuberculosis. Dr. J. A. Patton M.D., giving medical report.
Turkey Hooper was the informant. He was buried at the Mink Cemetery, undertaker was listed as Turkey Hooper. (This means that the family or friends took care of the deceased and no funeral home was involved, which was common in that time period).
