This cemetery is located south of Stilwell Oklahoma on highway 59 about 5 miles south of Stilwell, turn left on Bell/Salem road, go about 2 miles where the Bell/Salem Road curves left and the Landfill road goes straight south. The cemetery is on the right inside a fenced pasture with a locked gate. I got permission from the current owner to go in and document this cemetery. The current owners have fenced the cemetery off from the pasture to keep the livestock out of the cemetery. This cemetery is very old and only has four inscribed headstones but has a lot of stone/rock marked graves.
I found no inscribed stone for Candy Mink, but found his Certificate of Death. The cold spring located there and the new paved road is named for him. I have found several Certificate of Death for people buried in this cemetery, most are the Mink family.

Note: The 1920 Adair County OK, Lees Creek Township census list Candy Mink as age 69 years old, wd, born in North Carolina, his household consist of his son-in-law Felix Pritchett, daughter Linda Pritchett (listed as Lydia on the death certificate, grandchildren, Carolina and Ollie Pritchett.
