February 24, 1918 - July 29, 2006
Gladys Woodward was born on February 24, 1918 in the Neal Red Star Community in Madison County, AR.
She was the daughter of Washington and Flora Ellen (Yates) Everman.
She departed this life to be with her Lord and Savior on July 29, 2006 at Tahlequah, Oklahoma at the age of 88 years, 5 months and 4 days.
She married Earl Woodward on February 7, 1935 and to this union 6 children were born: Clarence, Glovanna, Ellen, Clane, Norene and Bonnie.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Earl and 3 children; Clane Woodward, Norene Sasser, and Bonnie Ketcher, 6 brothers; Leslie, Chester, Henry, Richard, Ray and Don Everman, 2 sisters; Dessie Bryant and Clara Calloway, 2 grandchildren; Mark Woodward and Rhonda Woodward.
She is survived by a loving family that includes 1 son: Clarence Woodward and wife Pat of Stilwell, OK, 2 daughters: Glovanna Kaufman of Tahlequah, OK, and Ellen Moss and husband Tim of Claremore, OK. 12 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive her.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, August 1, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. in the Stilwell Church of Christ with Larry Hatfield officiating.
Interment followed in the Freewater Cemetery under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
