August 21, 1917 - January 12, 2007
Funeral services for Loleta Poppino, age 89, of Stilwell, will be held Tuesday, January 16, 2007 at Hart Memorial Chapel in Stilwell.
Interment will follow at Freewater Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home.
Loleta Poppino, the daughter of Earl Burgess and Jane (Orr) Burgess, was born August 21, 1917 in Adair County Oklahoma.
She went home to be with the Lord on January 12, 2007 at Memorial Hospital in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 89 years, 4 months and 22 days.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Chester, one granddaughter: Diana Lynn Poppino.
She leaves behind a loving family including two sons, Leonard Poppino and wife Jean, of Pryor, OK and Wayne Poppino and wife, Darlene, of Welling, OK: two daughters, Euna Fern Carter and husband, Forest, of Tahlequah, OK and Lynda Crittenden and husband Joe, of Stilwell, OK.
Other survivors include four sisters, Irene Wallace and husband, Melvin, of Pryor, OK, Lola Goins, of Pryor, OK, Ruby Woodward, of Pawnee, OK and Dortha Barker, of Westville, OK, 9 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren and numerous family, friends and loved ones.
