Levi Seabolt Wofford Jr

Levi Wofford Jr., son of Levi Seabolt Wofford, Sr. and Martha (Hawk) Wofford, was born on July 18, 1941 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and passed from this life on Monday, April 30, 2018 in Stilwell, Oklahoma at 76 years of age.

He liked to hunt for deer, squirrel and rabbit. Levi also enjoyed fishing. He was an avid OU sports fan. Levi played baseball when he was younger, along with his brothers who had their own team. He was a 1961 graduate of Stilwell High School. He was employed for 31 years by Peterson Farms until retirement. He cherished the time he spent with his family. While Levi was still able, he attended Stilwell Free Holiness Mission Church.

Levi was preceded in death by his parents: Levi Sr. and Martha Wofford, sisters: Floella Swimmer, Josephine Chuculate, Viola Brown, brothers: Charley Wofford, Ralph Wofford, Jack Wofford, Clayton Wofford and Steve Hatfield.

He is survived by a loving and devoted family that includes his wife of 49 years: Mildred Wofford, of the home near Stilwell, children: Vincent Wofford and wife Alicia of Stilwell, Karalee Hopkins and husband Melvin of Westville, Eric Wofford of Stilwell, grandchildren: Ashlee Wofford, Logan Wofford, Lauren Wofford, Luke Hopkins, brother: Thomas Wofford and wife Sara of Stilwell, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services were held Friday, May 4, 2018 at Roberts/Reed-Culver Chapel, Stilwell, with Rev. George Polecat and Nephew, Brandon Wofford, officiating. Interment followed at Feathers Cemetery, Stilwell.
