Theodore (Teddy) Lawson III

Theodore (Teddy) Lawson III, was born September 12, 1954 to Theodore Lawson Jr. and Gladys Jewell Saylor Lawson in Richmond, IN, passed from this life May 17, 2015 at the age of 60 years, 8 months and 5 days at Grace Living Center in Tahlequah, Ok.

He graduated from Stilwell High School in 1972, an outstanding athlete in football and track. He loved sports of all kinds. A Master Carpenter, he worked in areas such as Texas, Las Vegas, Kentucky and California doing what he loved.

He was proceeded in death by his mother, Jewell Saylor Lawson, both paternal and maternal grandparents, uncle; Lee Lawson and great uncle Cleve Fivekiller.

He is survived by his parents; Rev. Ted and Weetah Lawson of the home in Stilwell, OK, 6 children; Brian Lawson of Ft. Smith, AR, Teddy Lawson IV of San Antonio, TX and 4 other children locations unknown. 2 brothers; Joe Weavel and wife Pam of Tahlequah, OK, Tommy Lawson of Great Falls, SC, 1 sister; Rojeanna Farmer and husband Robert of Stilwell, OK, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive him.

Graveside services were held, Thursday, May 21, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the Ewing Chapel Cemetery with Rev. Gerald Buckner and Rev. Glen Hopkins officiating. Interment followed under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
