Ruby Mae Flanders Morris – Stilwell Democrat Journal – August 6, 1998
Funeral services for Ruby Mae Morris were held Sunday, Aug. 2, in the Old Baptist Mission Church. Interment followed in the Old Baptist Mission Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home of Westville.
Ruby was born Dec. 25, 1921 in Blountstown, Fla. to Robert and Lilla (Pierce) Flanders. She departed this life July 29, 1998 in Miami, Fla. at the age of 76 years, 7 months and 4 days.
She married Lloyd Morris of Westville, in November of 1941 in Tallahassee, Fla.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Arthur Flanders; and one sister, Audrey Durham.
Ruby is survived by: her husband, Lloyd Morris of Miami, Fla.; two sons , Glen and Don; one sister , Artie; one brother, Eldridge Flanders of Fla.; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and loved ones.
