Quannah was born at home in Summers, AR and grew up in Anderson, MO and Watts, OK. He was saved when he was 12 years old.
 

In 1955 at the age of 17, he left Watts moved to Okla. City. Working at odd jobs until his U.S. Army enlistment in 1958. After completing basic training at Ft. Carson, CO., he was stationed at Nuremberg, Germany until his honorable discharge in 1961.

In 1958, while in the Germany he met the love of his life, Monika Anna Ruckriegl, Wendl they married in 1960. Upon completion of his enlistment and return to the U.S. they lived and worked in Okla. City while purchasing land at Lindsay, OK. Quannah retired after 35 years with Lucent Technologies. Preferring country living to life in the City, he built a home on his land moved his family to Lindsay, OK in 1972. He was a member of Union Hill Baptist Church in Purcell, OK and Pioneers of America. He loved traveling abroad, farming most of all his family. He was a devoted husband and father.

He was preceded in death by: his parents: Travis Stephen Leo and Anna Margurite Jones Chadwell, his grandparents: Andrew Jackson and Daisy W. Spyres Chadwell, Allsup and Thomas Arthur Mary Frances Barber Jones.

Quannah is survived by: his wife of 54 years Monika, 1 son: Jack R. and wife Beth of Branson, MO and 1 daughter: Patricia R. Edmiston of Moore, OK 5 siblings: Clairace McFadin, Vidella Ketcher, Alfred, Jimmie, Darrell Chadwell 2 grandchildren: Brandon Kasidi and 3 great grandchildren Lukas, Tyler and Alex.

Funeral services will be held at Roberts Funeral Home, Stilwell, OK, on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at 1:00 pm with interment at Baptist Mission Cemetery, Westville, OK.
