Brian Curtis Cannon, son of Danny Eugene Lawmaster and Elouise Hogshooter, was born on September 16, 1963 in Siloam Springs, Arkansas and passed from this life on Tuesday, April 29, 2014 in Grove, Oklahoma at the age of 50 years.
Brian attended elementary and junior high at Skelly. He graduated from Watts High School.
He was of the Baptist Faith.
Brian was a laborer, working alongside Terry Hammer, applying dry wall texture in homes for approximately 2 years. He worked for Environmental Services for 5 years in the role of Supervisor. Brian also worked for the Cherokee Casino, in Survellience Security for an additional 2 years.
He liked dancing, listening to country music and rooting for OU Football. Brian was a “people person”. He had the uncanny ability of drawing people to him, but most of all he loved making people laugh.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Danny and Elouise.
Brian is survived by his wife: Rebecca, of the home in Grove, OK, children: Juella Quick of Baldwin Park, CA, Gene Riepma of Siloam Springs, AR, Dean Riepma of Grove, siblings: Bradley Cannon of Oklahoma, Gala Hammer and husband Terry of Watts, OK, Becky Cannon of Little Kansas, OK, Danny Lawmaster of Siloam Springs, Tammy Lawmaster of Tahlequah, OK, Bruce Cannon and wife Shannon of Grapevine, TX, Linda Cash and husband Stan of Watts, Kimberly Philpott and husband Richard of Colcord, OK, David Lawmaster and wife Tammy of Siloam Springs, 3 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Many other relatives and friends also survive him.
Funeral services were held at 2 pm on Friday, May 2, 2014 at Roberts & Hart Chapel, Westville, OK with Bro. John Hammer officiating. Interment followed at Old Baptist Mission Cemetery, Westville, OK.
