John Grayson
July 26, 1913 - November 26, 1995
John Grayson was born July 26, 1913 in Stilwell, Okla., and died on November 26, 1995 at his home in Stilwell.
He was the son of Dick and Eliza (Beaver) Grayson.
Mr. Grayson was retired from the City of Tulsa Water Dept., where he worked for 25 years. He was a member of Beaver Baptist Church, and had been a Sunday School superintendent for Beaver and Logcabin Churches. John was a past president of the Greasy School Board.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Pauline, in 1992; one son, Johnson; one brother, William Grayson; and three infant children.
He is survived by; four sons, Alex Grayson, Joe Grayson, Tom Grayson, John Grayson Jr., all of Stilwell; five daughters, Louise Turtle, Sarah Burris, Marilyn Cochran, and Dora Morgan, all of Stilwell, and Liz Guthrie, Tulsa, Okla; 14 grandchildren; and nine nieces and nephews.
Services were to be held Wednesday, November 29, at 2:00 p.m. in the Roberts/Reed-Culver Chapel with Mike McConell and George Polecat officiating.
Interment was to be in the Beaver Cemetery under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
